Azure/M365 O&M Engineer

Accountabilities:: Monitor and maintain Azure and Microsoft 365 services across identity, networking, compute, storage, collaboration, governance, and platform monitoring environments. Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, recurring problems, and performance issues in accordance with established service levels. Implement approved infrastructure and configuration changes while following applicable change-control and operational procedures. Maintain accurate configuration records and support release, maintenance, and service-management activities. Perform assigned backup, recovery, access management, health-check, and capacity-management activities. Monitor service health and identify potential issues before they affect users or business operations. Create, maintain, and improve technical runbooks, knowledge articles, dashboards, operational reports, and other documentation. Work closely with project and engineering teams during service transitions and early-life support. Support troubleshooting across identity, network, endpoint, and application service layers. Communicate technical status, incidents, changes, and resolutions clearly to users, engineers, and other stakeholders. Follow established standards, procedures, and security practices while escalating issues that require additional expertise. Identify opportunities for small process improvements and contribute emerging best practices to the broader technical team. Coordinate with vendors and other technology partners on straightforward operational issues when required. Requirements: 4+ years of experience working with Azure, Microsoft 365, or enterprise cloud operations. Practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure networking, and Microsoft 365 administration. Strong troubleshooting skills across identity, networking, endpoint, application, and cloud service layers. Experience working within ticketing, incident-management, change-control, and knowledge-management processes. Ability to perform routine cloud and infrastructure maintenance, monitoring, updates, backups, and documented troubleshooting. Strong technical documentation skills, with the ability to create clear runbooks, knowledge articles, operational procedures, and reports. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with users, engineers, project teams, and vendors. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple operational tasks while meeting established service expectations. Ability to follow technical standards and standard operating procedures while exercising sound judgment and escalating issues appropriately. Experience with Azure Government, GCC High, or NIST-based environments is preferred. Azure Administrator or Microsoft 365 Administrator certification is preferred. Experience with Teamcenter, SharePoint, Exchange Online, or Microsoft Purview operations is a plus. Familiarity with networking fundamentals, Windows/Linux administration, PowerShell or Bash scripting, Git, and infrastructure-as-code concepts is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining accountability, documentation, and clear communication. Benefits: Fully remote work arrangement within the United States.
