Analytics Lead, Full Stack

Accountabilities: Establish and continuously improve the operational analytics framework for new international markets, creating scalable approaches to measurement, reporting, and business decision-making. Approach business challenges with an owner mindset, proactively identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, growth, profitability, and operational performance. Own analytical problems end to end, from defining success metrics and developing hypotheses through analysis, experimentation, performance tracking, and optimization recommendations. Build scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions that make insights intuitive and accessible across the organization. Design and evaluate experiments, including A/B tests, to address ambiguous business questions and validate product-market fit and economic viability. Translate analytical findings into compelling narratives, recommendations, and business cases for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Lead weekly cross-functional metric reviews, investigating significant performance changes and identifying actionable next steps. Partner closely with Product, Risk, Finance, Commercial, and Operations teams to align analytical priorities with business objectives. Develop trusted relationships across functions and serve as a strategic analytics advisor to stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior analysts, helping them deliver rigorous, high-impact analytical work. Identify opportunities to use AI-powered tools and automation to accelerate analysis, improve workflows, and strengthen analytical capabilities. Requirements 5+ years of experience in a cross-functional analytical role with a demonstrated record of delivering business impact. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitatively rigorous field such as statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of consumer lending and credit, including lending economics, portfolio performance, and credit metrics. Experience supporting international lending markets, particularly in Europe or APAC, is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to balance growth objectives with profitability and develop data-driven strategies. Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation methodologies. Advanced SQL skills and experience performing statistical analysis using Python. Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritize an analytics roadmap, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated curiosity and growth mindset, including hands-on experience with AI-powered tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar assistants to accelerate analysis and automate workflows. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Risk, Commercial, Finance, and Operations stakeholders. Comfortable working through ambiguity, identifying core hypotheses, and developing practical solutions to complex problems. Previous experience mentoring or guiding junior analysts. A collaborative, humble, and team-oriented approach, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute beyond individual responsibilities. Benefits Base salary: CA$145,000–CA$205,000 per year.
