Administrador de Dados / Modelador de Dados (PowerDesigner)

Accountabilities:: Create, propose, maintain, and update conceptual, logical, and physical data models using SAP PowerDesigner. Develop relational and multidimensional data models aligned with business and technical requirements. Ensure data structures are properly normalized, reducing redundancy and maintaining logical consistency. Manage and maintain metadata quality in accordance with established data management and governance methodologies. Design data-service architectures across relational, analytical, and NoSQL ecosystems to support BI and Big Data applications. Collaborate with DBAs on physical database implementation, including table partitioning and performance optimization. Support database performance monitoring and optimization across multiple database management systems, including Very Large Databases (VLDBs). Specify data integration mechanisms, including ETL processes, database links, and database services. Develop SQL scripts using DDL, DML, DCL, Transaction SQL, and SQL Plus for validation, analysis, and reporting purposes. Work with diverse data sources and formats, including VSAM, CSV, TXT, JSON, XML, relational databases, and NoSQL systems. Support and contribute to data administration, modeling, governance, and sustainability activities in critical enterprise environments. Provide consulting, technical support, and mentoring to business and technology teams. Promote best practices in BI, data management, modeling, and continuous process improvement. Requirements: Proven professional experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, including relational and multidimensional modeling. Strong practical expertise with SAP PowerDesigner. Advanced knowledge of SQL and related data languages and technologies, including DDL, DML, DCL, Transaction SQL, and SQL Plus. Experience administering and/or modeling data in relational and NoSQL database management systems. Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, Sybase, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, InfluxDB, and Apache Hawq/Impala. Experience with the Informatica suite, particularly PowerCenter, PowerExchange, Data Quality, and Metadata Management. Knowledge of data integration architectures, including ETL specifications, database links, and database-based services. Experience working with Very Large Databases (VLDBs), including database performance analysis and table-partitioning techniques. Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, and enterprise data architecture principles. Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, and the Agile Manifesto. Basic knowledge of statistics, predictive models, and probabilistic analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across complex and diverse data environments. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to different audiences.
