Actuarial Analyst

Accountabilities:: Analyze and forecast financial data to provide accurate and timely information supporting strategic and operational decisions. Maintain provider revenue and expense projection models and the tools that support the Medicare actuarial forecasting process. Integrate value-based provider impacts into financial and bid forecasts. Manage analytical tools associated with provider impacts and contribute to effective risk modeling practices. Establish and maintain relevant metrics, perform data analysis, and support business intelligence activities. Develop and execute data processes and controls to maintain data integrity throughout the flow of information. Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements, investigate issues, and identify appropriate solutions. Troubleshoot data problems, perform root cause analyses, and develop cost-effective resolutions for anomalies. Interpret department, segment, and organizational strategies and understand their connections to related business areas. Independently determine appropriate work methods in situations that may involve ambiguity while following established guidelines and procedures. Contribute to continuous improvements in actuarial analytics, forecasting tools, methodologies, and processes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. Successful completion of at least 3 actuarial exams. Strong ability to communicate analytical ideas clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats. Strong technical skills with SQL, VBA, and Microsoft Excel preferred. Experience working with Medicare is preferred. Willingness and ability to learn new analytical tools, technologies, and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work independently with minimal direction while collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity. Benefits Annual base salary range of $80,900–$110,300 USD , with individual compensation varying based on factors such as geographic location, skills, experience, education, and certifications.
