M9 Solutions is seeking a Unix Engineering/System Administration to work on-site in support of a government contract for a client located in Colorado Springs, CO. An active Secret clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Performs daily systems administration and help desk tasks for Solaris and Linux environments.
- Automates administration tasks using scripting languages (Perl, Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- Manages file systems, storage, and virtualization (ZFS, UFS, VEEAM, PDOM/LDOM).
- Configures and integrates systems with Active Directory and LDAP.
- Ensures cybersecurity compliance through best practices, STIGs, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Develops and maintains documentation, performs COTS assessments, and troubleshoots issues.
- Designs, integrates, and installs system releases, and creates/updates design documents for systems engineering lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Relevant certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CAP, or CISSP.
