Senior Product Manager - Recruiter Experience (India)

Our Product team is committed to driving forward Karat’s mission to make interviews predictive, fair, and enjoyable. We are focused on providing deeper value to engineering and talent leaders, hiring managers, recruiters, candidates, and Interview Engineers.

What you will do

As Senior Product Manager, you will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for recruiter experience within the Karat Platform. You'll build experiences that give recruiters clearer visibility into their pipeline, faster ways to act on it, and less manual overhead — including exciting new ground in how strong candidates get matched to the right opportunity, not just the role they originally applied for. You'll collaborate across engineering, content, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-impact solutions for our recruiting customers.

This position requires a schedule that overlaps with U.S. business hours.

• Product Strategy & Innovation: Define the roadmap for the recruiter-facing workflow and analytics experience; identify where better tooling, automation, and insight can save recruiters time and improve their day-to-day decision-making; explore new ways to surface and route strong candidates toward better-fit opportunities, both within a single hiring pipeline and across the broader set of roles we help fill. 
• Product Development & Execution: Prioritize features based on customer needs and business objectives; partner with engineering, content, and UX teams to deliver high-quality, enterprise-ready solutions, including integrations with customers' existing recruiting systems
• Analytics & Insights: Design and refine the dashboards and reporting recruiters rely on to manage their workload; analyze usage data to understand where recruiters get stuck or drop out of a workflow; run experiments to test new ways of surfacing insight, reducing manual effort, and improving match quality between candidates and opportunities
• Market & Customer Focus: Track performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities; partner with Go-to-Market teams on expansion strategies; build compelling business cases for new offerings, including entirely new ways of connecting candidates to opportunity.

The experience you will bring

• 5+ years of product management experience across B2B and B2C offerings, ideally with exposure to recruiting, HR tech, or matching/marketplace-style products
• Genuine passion for and track record of building B2B SaaS applications — comfortable running customer discovery calls and QBRs and translating enterprise feedback directly into product decisions
• Demonstrated experience designing analytics, dashboards, or workflow tools that measurably improved how a professional user did their job
• Excited by greenfield, 0-to-1 problems — this role includes building something genuinely new, not just optimizing what exists
• Comfortable holding your own in client meetings with recruiting and TA leaders at large enterprises
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams

This position is only available to candidates residing in Bengaluru (formerly known as Bangalore). While our team operates 100% remotely, we are currently limiting hiring to this specific location. We will not consider applications from other cities in India at this time.
