Senior Manager, External Reporting

THE ROLE

Are you ready to shape the future of financial reporting at a fast-paced, innovative technology leader? As Senior Manager, External Reporting, you will drive Everpure’s public financial reporting integrity and compliance across U.S. GAAP and SEC standards. Partnering cross-functionally across Finance, Legal, Investor Relations, and external audit, you will champion reporting excellence, elevate technical accounting analysis, and modernise processes with AI and automation tools.

• Lead the preparation and review of SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statement support, XBRL tagging, and other required disclosures
• Oversee the tie-out of financial statements, footnotes, and Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A), including statement of cash flows, statement of stockholders’ equity, earnings per share, and non-GAAP disclosures, as applicable
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations (including Regulations S-K and S-X), and disclosure controls and procedures (DC&P)
• Manage the external reporting calendar and coordinate deliverables across finance, legal, investor relations, and external auditors
• Review and analyze financial results to ensure consistency and accuracy of disclosures
• Review accounting analyses and journal entries related to stock-based compensation (ASC 718), including expense recognition, forfeitures, modifications, equity classification, and diluted EPS impacts, in coordination with Stock Administration
• Review accounting for capitalized sales commissions / contract acquisition costs (ASC 340-40), including capitalization, amortization, and impairment assessments
• Support the evaluation of technical accounting matters, including preparation and review of accounting memos and documentation for complex or non-routine transactions
• Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting (SOX), with emphasis on disclosure controls, reporting processes, and key controls over external reporting
• Support earnings release preparation and review, including coordination with Investor Relations and review of supporting analyses
• Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors on reporting, disclosure, and select technical accounting areas
• Drive continuous improvement in the external reporting process by identifying and implementing automation and AI-enabled solutions (e.g., for tie-outs, variance analysis, disclosure drafting, and data validation) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
• Continuously improve reporting processes, including leveraging systems and automation tools (e.g., Workiva, ERP systems) to enhance efficiency and shorten reporting timelines
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Extensive expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC public company reporting, with hands-on experience leading multi-faceted technical accounting evaluations and journal entries (including ASC 718 and ASC 340-40).
• Experience reviewing cash flow statements, stockholders’ equity, EPS, and related supporting schedules
• Demonstrated capability in orchestrating complex financial reporting deliverables, managing SOX/DC&P frameworks, and leveraging modern financial reporting tools and ERP systems (e.g. Workiva, NetSuite, SAP, E*Trade).
• Advanced skills in workflow automation, process improvement, and implementing technology- or AI-enabled tools to optimize financial data validation and disclosure drafting.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, experience in mentoring staff, analytical problem-solving, and communication capabilities to align cross-departmental partners and executive stakeholders.
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
