We’re Looking For A: Senior Business Development Specialist

Location: Hybrid (Woodland Hills, CA)

What You’ll Be Doing: This position will source new opportunities for both the Growth and New Ventures organizations. They will find, negotiate, and onboard those opportunities with the end goal of increasing company revenue. This person will initiate and nurture new relationships with strategically important agencies, affiliates, direct publishers, ad networks, as well as become intimately involved in every piece of brand development.

• Support Head of Business Development with sourcing and negotiating new opportunities including but not limited to: social agencies; affiliate; new networks; direct placements; out of home advertising, and upper funnel initiatives as well as tech opportunities
• Nourish relationships with new agencies/ affiliates in order to maximize performance as well discover new advertising options. Negotiate fees and have complete understanding of the difference between flat fee, cpa, cpm, revshare placement where applicable.
• Responsible for proving out and testing new traffic facilitating to Account Managers by onboarding all accounts with complete understanding of numerous media buying strategies and account manage while account is testing
• Initiating and implementing optimization strategies (Including negotiating commissions, testing different funnels, performance bonus) to maximize performance
• Onboard and account manage direct buy, direct network, affiliate team, as well as video, creative, growth, and retention opportunities when applicable
• Set up, manage, execute and analyze paid media campaigns and budgets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep spend optimized for sales growth while hitting goals
• Knowledge of native, display, email marketing
• Know all pricing models applicable to all 7+ brands/30+ offers
• Work cross department with legal, accounting, tech, brand on a daily basis
• Create funnels & pages as needed, create Jira tickets, implement tests
• Collaborate with offer managers, tech, copywriting, creative teams to ensure maximum performance of test

Qualifications (Note: We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

• Understanding Facebook UI and integration
• Worked in Shopify
• In depth data analysis into metrics such as CTR, CVR, AOV, LTV
• Responsible for staying on top of industry trends and recommending improvements 
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years in a Business Development role with a focus on sourcing and negotiating agencies and affiliates for a DTC company.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. (preferred)
• 5+ years in a Business Development role with a focus on sourcing and negotiating agencies and affiliates for a DTC company within the health & wellness space. (preferred)

The base salary range is $76,600 - $102,200, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
