Why Hover wants you
Our sales-led business is growing faster than the systems that measure it. We need one person who can build a complete, trustworthy view of that business and then use it to change how we run. You'll design the instrumentation, automate the reporting that today takes people days, and hand the board, our CEO, our CFO, and our CRO a single source they can act on. Then you'll go after the gaps those numbers expose.
You will contribute by
Building Hover's sales analytics and strategy function from a partial foundation into a system the whole company relies on. You'll instrument the metrics that describe our sales-led business, then automate the work that surrounds them: the CRO's weekly metrics pack, board deck preparation, and our annual revenue planning models. You'll design agentic workflows and use AI tooling to do in minutes what currently takes a person a week, which is what frees you to spend real time on strategy. From there, you'll identify where the business is leaking or underinvesting and drive the projects that fix it. You'll work with our CRO weekly, partner with our CFO, VP of Sales, and GTM Systems leadership, and lead a small analytics team.
- Own the metric definitions for the sales-led business and defend them to finance and executive stakeholders
- Automate the CRO sales metrics reporting cycle, board deck preparation, and annual revenue model
- Instrument the sales process end to end, and lead the change management that makes new data reliable in the field
- Turn analysis into decision-ready decks, models, and memos for the board, CEO, CFO, CRO, and VP of Sales
- Find and drive the strategic projects that the data surfaces
Your background includes
- 8+ years in revenue operations, sales strategy, business operations, or GTM analytics, including time supporting a sales-led B2B org
- Advanced SQL, used to build and maintain your own models and queries rather than to read someone else's
- Hands-on experience designing agentic and AI-assisted workflows for analysis or reporting, with Claude, ChatGPT, or comparable tooling
- Strong Tableau skills, or equivalent depth in another BI platform
- A track record of turning analysis into executive-ready decks, models, and memos that led to a decision
- Experience driving process or system change across a sales organization, not only reporting on it
- Precision with detail alongside the judgment to simplify for a board audience
Nice-to-haves
- Experience at a mid-size or larger SaaS company with an established sales-led motion
- Exposure to board reporting or investor communications
- First-hand experience building a metrics system from a partial foundation rather than maintaining a mature one
Benefits
- Compensation - Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a fast-growing company
- Healthcare - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependents
- Paid Time Off - Unlimited and flexible vacation policy
- Paid Family Leave - We support work/life balance and offer generous paid parental and new child bonding leave
- Mandatory Self-Care Days - A day set aside each month to allow employees to recharge
- Remote Wellbeing Resources - We provide recurring fitness classes, meditation/ mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning assistance
- Learning - We encourage continued education and will help cover the cost of management training, conferences, workshops, or certifications
