About the Team

Our Renewals team owns the commercial success of Mixpanel's existing customer base, protecting and growing renewable ARR across APAC. We take a proactive, full-lifecycle approach to every account: planning early, leading with the value customers realise from Mixpanel, and building the commercial strategy that turns satisfied customers into long-term, growing partnerships.

This is a highly cross-functional team. We partner closely with Customer Value Architects, Account Executives, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Product to deliver successful customer outcomes and predictable, disciplined revenue retention across the region.

About the Role

As a Renewal Manager, you'll own the commercial success of your book of business, taking a proactive, 12-month approach to renewal planning, customer value, stakeholder alignment, and negotiation. You'll be accountable for the end-to-end renewal lifecycle, from early strategy and stakeholder mapping through negotiation, execution, and post-renewal success planning, always focused on customer satisfaction, long-term retention, and sustainable growth.

A renewal is being managed from the moment the last one is signed. You'll set the strategy long before commercial negotiations begin, protect the commercial baseline in every decision, and maintain a forecast that leadership can trust, with no surprises and no last-minute category flips. You'll lead with value, understand what customers achieved with Mixpanel today, and build your commercial approach around the outcomes we’ve delivered.

This is a commercial, ownership-driven role at the centre of Mixpanel's customer lifecycle in APAC. It's ideal for someone who thrives in multi-stakeholder commercial motions, forecasts with discipline, and wants a visible role in building a high-performing renewals function across the region.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial health of an assigned book of business, maintaining a clear, current view of where your business will land, the key risks and opportunities, and the actions required to hit quarterly and annual targets
• Build and maintain a documented renewal strategy for every priority account, aligning with Account Executives and Customer Value Architects on customer priorities, risks, and growth opportunities
• Protect the commercial baseline by considering the long-term impact of pricing, concessions, contract changes, and commercial commitments before they are agreed
• Lead commercial negotiations with confidence and discipline, developing pricing and packaging strategies aligned to customer value, defending Mixpanel's commercial position, and achieving the best long-term outcome for both the customer and the business
• Achieve the standard renewal uplift and convert single-year renewals into multi-year commitments where appropriate
• Maintain an accurate weekly forecast that reflects the true commercial position of the business, with disciplined CRM hygiene (up-to-date next steps, close dates, forecast categories, and supporting notes) and no surprises at quarter end
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders well ahead of renewal, equipping champions and executive sponsors with the commercial and value messaging they need to articulate Mixpanel's impact internally
• Lead the cross-functional renewal motion, coordinating Customer Value, Account Executives, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Product, and Marketing while driving accountability across the plan
• Own the commercial position of your accounts throughout the lifecycle, ensuring any amendments, restructures, credits, or mid-term negotiations support the long-term renewal strategy
• Complete every renewal with a thorough handover and post-renewal success plan, and contribute negotiation tactics, risk patterns, and process improvements back to the team playbook

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

• 2+ years of experience in SaaS renewals, account management, or a commercial customer-facing role, with a track record of retaining and growing revenue across a book of business
• Proven ability to own a multi-stakeholder commercial motion end-to-end, from early planning through negotiation to contract execution
• Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop value-based pricing and packaging strategies and defend a commercial position with senior stakeholders
• Disciplined forecasting and CRM hygiene: you catch risk 120+ days out, not 30, and your forecast holds up with minimal late surprises
• A value-led mindset: you understand the outcomes customers achieve and build your commercial strategy around them
• Confidence working cross-functionally with Account Executives, Customer Success, Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal to drive successful customer outcomes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with economic buyers, executive sponsors, and champions
• A proactive, ownership-driven approach: you're across your book at all times and can articulate where it will land and what could change that
• Active use of AI tools to work smarter. This isn't optional; it's how we operate
• Adaptability, resilience, and a genuine curiosity for the product analytics space and how data-driven companies build better customer experiences

Bonus Points For

• Experience managing renewals or commercial motions across APAC markets, with an understanding of local buying, procurement, and budget cycles
• Experience structuring multi-year and multi-product commercial agreements
• Familiarity with Salesforce and commercial tooling such as Gong, or customer health platforms (e.g., Statisfy)
• Experience with Mixpanel or other product analytics tools 
• Speaking multiple languages relevant to the APAC region
• Background in analytics, data, martech, or developer tools ecosystems
• Experience working in high-growth SaaS environments (Series B–E or beyond)
