PMO Project Manager (Growth, Development, Power)

Who You Are:

The Project Management Office (PMO) Project Manager (Growth, Development, Power) is the PMO's embedded project management partner to the Growth, Development, and Power functions, providing the cross-functional coordination and execution structure required to move sites and related initiatives through the broader organization. Growth, Development, and Power sits at the intersection of numerous internal and external stakeholders.

Progress may depend on Pre-Construction, Construction, Operations, Technology, Finance, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Community Relations, Government Relations, consultants, and external agencies. While Growth, Development, and Power leadership and subject matter experts retain ownership of technical and development decisions, the PM ensures that the work surrounding those decisions is coordinated across the business.

The role creates visibility into what needs to happen, by whom, and when; identifies downstream impacts and dependencies early; and ensures other departments are engaged before gaps become schedule, resource, or business risks. This allows Growth, Development, and Power leaders to focus on development strategy and technical execution while the PM ensures that cross-functional commitments, dependencies, decisions, and business processes remain aligned and moving forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with Growth, Development, and Power leadership to understand the development pipeline, departmental priorities, upcoming milestones, constraints, and cross-functional requirements.
• Break complex initiatives into clear workstreams, milestones, tasks, dependencies, owners, and decision points.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility into Growth, Development, and Power activities and ensure key initiatives are accurately represented in the PMO project management systems.
• Identify and manage dependencies between Site Development and Pre-Construction, Construction, Operations, Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, Community Relations, Government Relations, and other stakeholders.
• Engage impacted departments early when Growth, Development, and Power activities have downstream implications for scope, timing, resources, cost, or execution.
• Establish and facilitate cross-functional meetings needed to resolve dependencies, align plans, make decisions, and maintain progress.
• Track commitments and action items across departments and ensure accountability for agreed deliverables.
• Identify emerging risks, constraints, stalled activities, resource conflicts, or unclear ownership and facilitate resolution.
• Escalate issues to Growth, Development, and Power leadership, the Head of PMO, or broader business leadership when appropriate.
• Support prioritization and sequencing across sites and initiatives by maintaining visibility into dependencies, capacity, timing, and competing demands.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and other support functions to ensure required business processes are understood, planned for, and initiated at the appropriate stage.
• Support Growth, Development, and Power leadership with capacity and resourcing discussions by providing visibility into the volume and complexity of current and upcoming work.
• Improve communication and handoffs between Growth, Development and downstream teams, particularly Pre-Construction and EHS.
• Provide leadership with clear reporting on progress, upcoming milestones, dependencies, risks, resource constraints, and decisions required.
• Act as an impartial facilitator when cross-department priorities or expectations are misaligned.
• Partner with the Head of PMO and other embedded PMO PMs to consistently apply PMO standards, tools, processes, and reporting practices.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in project or program management in the data center, power infrastructure, industrial development, or related industries.
• Working knowledge of site development processes sufficient to understand key milestones, dependencies, terminology, and downstream impacts.
• Basic knowledge of real estate contracts, with a general understanding of common gating items in the closing process.
• Proficient in leveraging AI tools to manage, streamline, and enhance project workstreams.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating initiatives across multiple technical and business functions.
• Strong ability to translate complex or loosely defined initiatives into structured, trackable execution plans.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, particularly in environments where accountability spans multiple departments.
• Ability to identify dependencies, organizational gaps, and risks and proactively bring the appropriate stakeholders together to resolve them.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Experience with project/work management and collaboration platforms such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide concise reporting to department and business leadership.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
