You are an Inventory Control Specialist who brings precision, analytical rigor, and strong cross-functional communication to maintaining accurate, audit-ready inventory. You manage cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, assess inventory risk, and partner with Warehouse Operations, Order Management, and Finance to keep inventory data reliable and business operations running smoothly. 

About The Role

The Inventory Control Specialist owns the accuracy and integrity of Myriad360's on-hand inventory, both company-owned and customer-owned. This role executes daily cycle counts, investigates and resolves discrepancies, and partners closely with Order Management, Warehouse Operations, and Finance to keep inventory data trustworthy and audit-ready. The ideal candidate is detail-obsessed, comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse and systems environment, and confident presenting inventory health to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership. 

Must be based in the United States.  

Other responsibilities include: 

Cycle Counting & Reporting 

• Perform daily cycle counts across Myriad-owned and customer-owned inventory, ensuring counts are completed accurately and on schedule. 
• Investigate and resolve count discrepancies, tracing root cause back to receiving, put-away, picking, or system entry errors. 
• Maintain clean, well-documented records to support internal and customer audits. 
• Attend recurring meetings with Warehouse Operations and Order Management to report on current inventory levels and open issues. 
• Participate in monthly Finance meetings to review inventory status, valuation, and reserve considerations. 

Inventory Risk Management 

• Develop and maintain business rules and thresholds that govern inventory risk, aging, and obsolescence. 
• Deliver bi-weekly analysis and recommendations on inventory aging to Order Operations leadership. 
• Flag slow-moving, at-risk, or excess inventory and help drive resolution (return, redeploy, or write-down). 
• Support quarterly and year-end physical inventory counts and reconciliation. 

Systems & Training 

• Serve as a subject-matter resource for inventory transactions within NetSuite, ensuring data entered reflects physical reality. 
• Report every other week to leadership on inventory health, including variance, aging, and adjustment activity. 
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory workflows, bin organization, and system controls, and help implement approved changes. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

• Act as the day-to-day inventory point of contact for Order Management, Warehouse Operations, and Finance. 
• Communicate inventory exceptions proactively so orders, shipments, and customer commitments are not disrupted. 
• Support ad hoc inventory reporting requests from leadership and client-facing teams. 

Desired skills and experience:  

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain, ideally within a technology distribution, VAR, or logistics environment. 
• Working knowledge of NetSuite or a comparable ERP for inventory transactions is a plus. 
• Strong analytical skills, with comfort building and interpreting inventory aging, variance, and adjustment reports. 
• Excellent organizational skills and follow-through; able to manage recurring, detail-heavy processes without dropping the ball. 
• Clear communicator, comfortable presenting inventory status to Order Management, Warehouse Operations, and Finance stakeholders. 
• Proficiency in Excel required; comfort with pivot tables and basic reporting. 
• Ability to be on-site daily and, when needed, on the warehouse floor to verify physical counts.

Pursuant to the NYC Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range in New York City for this position is $65,000, plus opportunities for profit-sharing bonus and/or commission. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
