About the Role

As an Avaloq Business Analyst engaged with Capco, you will provide specialist business analysis and consulting services supporting Avaloq transformation initiatives for financial services clients.

You will work closely with client stakeholders, technical specialists and project teams to understand business requirements, analyse processes and translate complex business needs into clear functional requirements and effective Avaloq solutions.

The engagement may span Avaloq implementations, transformations, migrations and platform enhancements, giving you the opportunity to contribute your specialist expertise across complex banking and wealth management environments.

This opportunity is intended for an independent professional operating through their own business. Services will be delivered under an agreed B2B contract, with appropriate independence and autonomy in the delivery of the contracted services.

What You’ll Do

• Analyse client business requirements, processes and challenges and translate them into clear, actionable functional requirements for Avaloq solutions.

• Provide specialist business analysis and functional consulting expertise across Avaloq implementation, transformation, migration and platform enhancement initiatives.

• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and workshops with business and technology stakeholders to define business needs, processes, priorities and expected outcomes.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process documentation, user stories and other relevant delivery artefacts.

• Collaborate with Avaloq and technical specialists to support solution design and ensure alignment between business requirements and proposed solutions.

• Contribute to testing, implementation and delivery activities, including requirements validation and functional support where required.

• Support clients throughout the delivery lifecycle to help ensure agreed Avaloq solutions address business requirements and achieve intended outcomes.

• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute practical recommendations based on Avaloq capabilities and banking industry experience.

• Communicate effectively with client stakeholders and multidisciplinary project teams in complex transformation environments.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven business analysis or functional consulting experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite, ideally within banking, private banking or wealth management.

• Strong functional understanding of Avaloq, together with knowledge of relevant banking processes, products and operating models.

• Experience working on Avaloq implementation, transformation, migration or platform enhancement initiatives.

• Demonstrable experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements.

• Experience producing high-quality functional specifications, process documentation and user stories.

• Ability to operate effectively between business and technology teams, translating complex business needs into practical solution requirements.

• Experience contributing to client-facing requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.

• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with client and project teams in complex delivery environments.
