Wir suchen zum 01.12.2026 für den Standort Mannheim für die Abteilung Data and Research on Society, Team German Microdata Lab eine*n Studentische Hilfskraft (15,20 € / 16,09 € Stundenlohn, 40 Stunden pro Monat, befristet bis 31.12.2027) Die Beobachtung aktueller gesellschaftlicher Entwicklungen ist eine Kernaufgabe der Sozialwissenschaften. Die Abteilung Data and Research on Society unterstützt die Sozialforschung bei dieser Aufgabe, indem sie umfassende Daten und Tools zur Beschreibung und Analyse des sozialen Wandels bereitstellt. Ihr Aufgabengebiet: Aufbereitung und Dokumentation von europäischen amtlichen Mikrodaten (hauptsächlich EU-SILC) Literaturrecherche und -beschaffung Unterstützung bei Forschungsarbeiten Ihr Profil: Bereitschaft zu langfristigem Beschäftigungsverhältnis Sorgfältige, zuverlässige und selbstständige Arbeitsweise Fähigkeit, sich schnell in komplizierte Strukturen einzuarbeiten Gute Kenntnisse in mindestens einem Statistikprogramm (Stata, SPSS, oder R) gewünscht Interesse an Python und KI-gestütztem Coding, Vorerfahrungen von Vorteil Wir bieten: Gründliche Einarbeitung Mitwirkung an forschungsbasiertem Service inkl.
