Lead Mechanical Engineer H/F Heat Pumps - France

We're recruiting our first Lead Mechanical Engineer to supervise the installations of our Air Source Heat Pumps. We're looking for passionate people who have experience installing heating systems and are willing to help us grow this activity in France This is a field based role covering the Amiens area, but you’ll also be expected to work from home or from our Lille office when required. What you'll do You’ll help us set up the technical arm of our heat pump department in France You’ll ensure the quality and proper functioning of the installations carried out by our local partners You’ll be out in the field visiting construction sites to ensure they are running smoothly You’ll be able to provide technical support to resolve any issues identified on site directly You’ll have a “troubleshooter” mindset to find solutions to challenges and resolve them You’ll use your knowledge and experience of heat pump installations to ensure a seemless and outstanding experience You’ll share low carbon advice with our customers You’ll review and collaborate on technical specifications and mechanical drawings What you'll need 3+ years of experience installing and maintaining air source heat pump systems Happy to travel around the Amiens region You’ll be an experienced plumbing and heating engineer with knowledge of heating system design and the ability to fault find You’ll have experience of reviewing and challenging technical specifications & mechanical drawings Qualifications Clean French Driving licence CAP/BEP, or VAE level RGE and Qualibat certifications Technical English proficiency (B1) BR NF C18-510 electrical habilitation It would be great if you had some of the below too: Happy using computers, including Excel Some experience with the electrical side of heat pumps BR electrical qualification What we offer Salary : €2900 a month Insurance company participation Additional salary for overtime/on-call 10€ per working day lunch vouchers (“Tickets-restaurants”) Share options in Octopus Energy Use of company tools Uniform and all PPE Company Vehicle and fuel If this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you.
