Wireless Network Development Engineer , ONE-NAT, ONE Access Engineering (LAN/Wireless)

Join Amazon's Network Access Technology team and build automation that keeps the world's largest enterprise wireless Basic qualifications: - Experience with automation or working with scripting languages like Python, Java, Perl, PHP, Ruby, Bash, Shell, or equivalent - Bachelor's degree in computer science or other related discipline - Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English - 4+ years experience developing engineering, deployment, or operations mechanisms to support IP network and/or networking systems - 4+ years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale enterprise wireless network environments - 4+ years of experience in network engineering, with deep expertise in wireless (802.11ac/ax/be) and wired (802.1X, RADIUS, DHCP, DNS) access technologies Preferred: - Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Server Load Balancing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Server Load Balancers, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, LDAP, NFS, etc. - Experience with one or more of the following wireless access points/controllers, switches, routers, server load balancer, and firewall vendor platforms: Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Arista, Brocade, Extreme, Citrix, F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc. - Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless platforms (Cisco, Juniper MIST, or similar) including controller-based and cloud-managed architectures - Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, site survey methodologies, and wireless capacity planning Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
