We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join our team at eero. The ideal candidate will be passionate about networking, with a deep understanding of Ethernet, network security protocols, Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Proven experience in WiFi software development, particularly with 802.11 protocols. - Familiarity with 802.11, 802.3, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, Linux bridge, and network stack internals. Preferred: - Master's degree or equivalent - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Go, Rust, C++ including object-oriented design - Ability to work independently and effectively within a dynamic team and vendors.
