Tax Governance Manager, Tax and Account Compliance

We are looking for a Tax Governance Risk Manager to join the TAC team and help build and run the governance function for Amazon's worldwide tax compliance programmes. This is a small, high-impact team Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience demonstrating strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data - Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint) - • 3+ years in risk management, compliance, audit, or governance. - • Experience maintaining risk registers, control inventories, or RCSA processes. - • Experience producing governance reports and audit-ready documentation. Preferred: - Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field, or experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments - Experience with financial services, payments or e-commerce - • Experience with the Three Lines of Defence (3LoD) governance model. - • Experience working with product or technology teams on compliance requirements. - • Experience with control testing methodologies. - • Familiarity with fraud detection or bad actor prevention frameworks. - • Professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CAMS, or equivalent). - • Comfortable working across multiple time zones with distributed teams.
