Systems Development Manager, Network Core

To meet Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of managing system or software development teams experience - 5+ years of relevant hands-on systems engineering and administrative work in networking, storage systems, operating systems experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - 5+ years of systems engineering and operations leadership for an Internet service or leading edge IT organization experience Preferred: - Experience contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an operations environment - 2+ years of Amazon experience, or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings - Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust - 8+ years of highly scalable systems experience - Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication - Experience in root cause analysis and error correction, identifying changes to procedures and systems to implement long-term fixes and avoid repeating issues Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
