The Device Tech team is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to build and maintain the platforms and automation that power on-premise compute and storage infrastructure across Amazon's first, middle, Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or 2+ years of technical work experience - 2+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience - 2+ years of Linux systems administration and/or development experience - Knowledge of networking fundamentals - Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure Preferred: - Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes - Experience with AWS Services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS - 1+ years of working with windows server technologies experience - Experience working with REST API based services, or experience in software development and experience with web-based applications and HTTP - Experience with logging and monitoring tools, such as: AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic and Splunk Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
