Systems Development Engineer, Amazon Foundational Security Services

Our organization is responsible for creating and maintaining a high bar for security across Basic qualifications: - Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems) - Experience (non-internship) in professional software development - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby - This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state Preferred: - Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication - Experience with AWS services - Experience mentoring an engineering community on complex technical issues - Experience in deploying identity and access management systems, or experience in web security Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
