Senior Software Development Engineer, Transactional Data Storage

Our team builds the data platforms at the core of Amazon, storing Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - Experience in professional, non-internship software development - Experience in development in the last 3 years - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design - Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems Preferred: - Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Experience in debugging, profiling, and implementing software engineering best practices in large-scale systems - Knowledge of databases, storage and big data concepts - Experience with performance and scalability testing Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
