System Development Engineer, AWS ADC Relational

This is an excellent opportunity to join Amazon's world class technical team in Seattle WA, working with some of the best and brightest engineers and technical managers while also developing your skills Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust - 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience - 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred: - Experience with PowerShell (preferred), Python, Ruby, or Java - Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology - Experience with distributed systems at scale - Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services - Experience with systems administration on either Linux/UNIX or Windows operating systems Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
