Support Engineer III, Benefits Experience & Technology (BXT)

Benefits Experience and Technology (BXT) builds a workplace for Amazonians to invent and deliver on behalf of customers by supporting employees’ financial, education, health, and wellness needs with benefits Basic qualifications: - Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent - 2+ years of progressive experience in support engineering or software development or a related field - 2+ year of experience with at least one scripting language such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby or similar - 2+ year of experience writing SQL queries including but not limited to using joins, aggregate functions and window functions - Experience with AWS services, S3 and Glue Preferred: - Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON - Experience in systems patching and maintenance - Experience with ETL processes - Experience with AWS services and Linux operating systems - Experience in automation with CI/CD, Data Quality Management and Operations - Good understanding of systems monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting - Excellent technical knowledge in building and deploying cloud applications - 1+ year of experience/understanding of AWS technologies such as S3, Glue, Lake Formation, Redshift or similar big data technologies Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
