Supply Chain Manager, GPCS AMER

Global Procurement Central Services (GPCS) is seeking a Non-Inventory Supply Chain Manager to support the non-inventory procurement strategy for emerging and growing business lines within Amazon's operational Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain management, engineering, business management or other relevant field - Experience with data analysis and basic Excel skills - Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - 1+ years of Purchasing, Inventory Management & Supply Chain experience Preferred: - Experience using data analysis to drive business decisions - Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership - Experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby and/or PHP), or experience in SQL Server/MySQL and experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities - Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership - Knowledge of ERP and procurement tools, including Oracle, Coupa and Ariba - Experience supporting multi-site operations or network-level procurement - Experience developing ordering strategies Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
