We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering - Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, or experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings - Travel up to 50% domestic travel with short notice - 2+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.), or 2+ years of construction or project management experience Preferred: - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents - Professional Civil/Structural Engineering (PE) License - Experience in data center or mission critical facility design with basic multidisciplinary knowledge of mission critical systems, design process, pre-construction requirements and the construction process Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
