Job Details: Job Description: About the Group Global Construction Engineering (GCE) is responsible for the design and engineering of all of Intel's major manufacturing and cleanroom projects across the globe. We are a team of specialized in-house architects and engineers in a highly collaborative environment. We work together with our factory, operations, and supply chain partners to deliver some of the most technically challenging construction projects in the world with demanding schedule and cost constraints. This position is with the Tool Install Central Engineering (TICE) team. TICE focuses on the construction designs required to install the semiconductor manufacturing equipment around the globe. We design thousands of tools each year to keep our factories running on the most advanced manufacturing equipment. This is a hybrid position at the Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As a Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA) Project Engineer - Tool Install Engineering your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Provide engineering solutions and breakthroughs to enable and deliver tool install construction projects to meet cost, schedule, duration and productivity target goals set by the corporation. Leverage subject matter experts throughout Intel in the areas of Construction Management, Supply Chain, Scheduling, Quantity Surveying, Off-Site Manufacturing, Finance, and Digital Transformation to deliver innovative engineering solutions. Influence change across key internal stakeholders with compelling data. Subject matter expert responsible for providing technical guidance to the Fab Construction Enterprise. Build and drive safety culture of caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution. The successful candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Innovative approach with the skills and expertise to drive improvements to cost, schedule, and productivity for construction projects. Skills to influence, drive, and implement breakthrough change. Written, visual, and verbal communication - especially in communicating technical issues. Expertise to collaborate across engineering disciplines, organizations and geographic boundaries. Team oriented and quality oriented. Champion and value the safety culture of caring throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. Minimum Qualifications The candidate must have at least one of the following: Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering with focus on structural and fundamental knowledge of civil and architectural. 3+ years of experience in design of large scale, complex, technical facilities, and equipment installation in high tech industries. Registration as Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE). -OR- Master's degree in civil or structural engineering with focus on structural and fundamental knowledge of civil and architectural. 2+ years of experience in design of large scale, complex, technical facilities, and equipment installation in high tech industries. Registration as Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE). Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with one or multiple codes related to structural discipline including but not limited to IBC, ASCE or EU,SEMI or international equivalent, etc. Experience with design and construction specifications. Experience with 2D CAD or 3D Modeling Software (e.g. AutoCAD Inventor SolidWorks Revit), RISA. Previous experience with collecting required data and writing whitepapers, seeking buyoff from stakeholders, and implementing technical changes. Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $99,550.00-197,960.00 USD The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
