Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon Music Technology

We are seeking an ambitious Technical Program Manager to join our Metrics and Data Platform team at Amazon Music. The Metrics and Data Platform team plays a central role in enabling Amazon Music's business Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - 3+ years of software development experience - 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design - Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps - Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering Preferred: - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Excellence in verbal and written communication with peers and senior leaders - Experience managing large, complex, cross-functional programs from concept to launch - Experience driving technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience identifying and mitigating program risks and removing execution blockers - Experience with iterative, agile development methodologies - Experience with data modeling or feature/product instrumentation - Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, EMR, Redshift, S3, Airflow, or Kinesis - Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Redshift, Kinesis, SQS, SNS) - Experience with data quality frameworks, data modeling concepts, or ETL workflows - Experience leveraging GenAI tools or initiatives to improve operational efficiency or program delivery - Experience with data governance or compliance programs at scale Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
