Sr. Specialist Solutions Architect, Security, AWS

AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work Basic qualifications: - 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - Experience securing cloud software services and understanding design for scalability, performance and reliability - Experience in a client facing consultative role working with large, complex enterprise customers Preferred: - 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience - Knowledge of cloud architecture - Experience in communicating with executives to describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy - AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification, or CISSP-ISSAP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional-Information Systems Security Architecture Professional) or CISSP-ISSEP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional-Information Systems Security Engineering Professional) - Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy, shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
