Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., originally creating Basic qualifications: - 6+ years of quality assurance engineering experience - 4+ years of delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading the QA projects and initiatives experience - Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an QAE role - Experience in manual testing - Experience in automation testing - Experience scripting or coding - Hands-on experience testing audio, DSP, or embedded/consumer-device software. - Solid understanding of digital signal processing and acoustic fundamentals. Preferred: - 2+ years of UI Automation (preferably on mobile platforms) experience - Knowledge of at least one modern object-oriented programming language such as C++, Java, Objective C - Experience with objective audio quality tools and metrics (POLQA/PESQ, ACQUA, MOS, ERLE). - Familiarity with the hardware device lifecycle (EVT/DVT/PVT) and manufacturing release gates. - Experience testing VoIP, wake-word/ASR, ANC, or spatial/head-tracked audio. - Experience with acoustic measurement setups (HATS, anechoic/lab test rigs) and calibration.
