Sr. SAP Finance Architect, AWS SAP Team

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sr. SAP Finance architect to lead the implementation of the Finance and Control (FICO) module for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience - Bachelor's degree - Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP FICO module, with a strong emphasis on financial accounting and management accounting processes. - Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management accounting concepts. - Strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, CO). Preferred: - Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs - Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private - Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics - Knowledge of U.S. federal and international tax provisions with an understanding of or practical experience with tax laws in other countries - Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives - Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), industry regulations, and internal control frameworks. - Experience in implementing SAP FICO in the manufacturing or high-tech industry. - Knowledge of advanced financial reporting and consolidation processes. - Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams. - Certification in SAP FICO (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting) is preferred. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
