Sr. Product Manager - Technical — AWS Messaging ServicesAbout the TeamAWS Messaging Services power the backbone of modern distributed applications. Our portfolio includes:Amazon MQ (AMQ) — A managed message Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of technical product management with internet business experience - 3+ years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience - Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market - Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market) Preferred: - Master's degree in a technical field, or Master of Business Administration - 5+ years of enterprise scale infrastructure or development-based cloud programs/projects in a related industry experience - Experience in launching new products - Experience with messaging systems, event-driven architectures, or distributed systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, AMQP, MQTT) - Familiarity with open-source messaging communities and standards Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
