Sr Ops Engineer - Mechanical Equipment SME, One MHS

OMHS Integration & Deployment is building the team that installs and commissions Amazon's next-generation material handling systems. We are looking for a mechanical equipment subject matter expert for Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience - 5+ years of Reliability Program Manager experience - 5+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience - 5+ years of directly managing and being responsible for multiple large projects experience - 3+ years of in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments experience, or experience in reliability/maintenance environments - 3+ years of leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live phases experience - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience - Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment Preferred: - Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field - Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools - Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites - Experience with performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, throughput, or quality - Experience in Amazon RME (Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering), fulfillment operations, or automation deployment environments Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
