Sr Operations Engineer, SSD Operations Integration (OI)

Rapid and Rural Logistics is looking for a Ops Engineering role with a delivery record and proven project management experience to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience - 5+ years of Reliability Program Manager experience - 5+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - 5+ years of maintenance or engineering experience - 2+ years of commercial CO2 refrigeration applications experience - 5+ years of directly managing and being responsible for multiple large projects experience - 3+ years of in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments experience, or experience in reliability/maintenance environments - 3+ years of leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live phases experience - Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (Reliability Maintenance Engineering) experience - Refrigeration Trade School certificate - Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment - Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays - 7+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, or related occupation - Experience managing the lifecycle of cross-functional projects, implementing automated equipment and/or integrated systems Preferred: - Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field - Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools - Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites - Experience with performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, throughput, or quality - Experience in Amazon RME (Reliability, Maintenance, and Engineering), fulfillment operations, or automation deployment environments - Experience working with the designs of complex automated material, handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and high-speed manufacturing Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
