Sr Mechanical Engineer, TIPM, Global Building Design & Engineering

Amazon is currently looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team as Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM), playing a pivotal role in leading design, facility, and Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering - Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients - Experience in project or program management - Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive) - Experience in the field of engineering in industrial/commercial/retail buildings with experience designing HVAC systems. - Knowledge of Building, Mechanical, - Electrical, Plumbing and Refrigeration Codes - Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads - Strong organizational skills Preferred: - Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience in Industrial design, refrigeration design, Revit design and/or smoke exhaust systems - Knowledge of current sustainability trends and practices - Experience in use of CFD tools - Work experience within field execution, i.e. with General Contractors - Construction contract and designer contract legal experience, Blue Book, FIDIC, Code law contracts - Cost Management or Quantity Surveying experience - Professional fluency in English and speaking of other EU language(s) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
