From individual households to Basic qualifications: - Experience in robotics design, automation systems development, control systems design, or related product development - 5+ years of experience developing manufacturing or industrial automation equipment. - Experience developing custom automation from concept through production deployment. - Experience designing and troubleshooting electrical and electro-mechanical systems. - Experience with industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CAN, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, RS-485 etc. - Knowledge of industrial safety, DFM/DFT, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement. - Demonstrated experience improving equipment uptime, yield, throughput, and cycle time. Preferred: - Master’s degree in Engineering or related field. - Experience in battery, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, robotics, or other advanced manufacturing. - Experience with manufacturing data systems, equipment monitoring, traceability, or MES integration. - Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for equipment and manufacturing failures. - Provide liaison engineering support to prodops to close on all related non conformances Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
