Amazon's Global Trade Services (GTS) team is seeking a Senior Trade Compliance Program Manager to join our Japan Trade Compliance team. This role is responsible for managing Japan's import and export compliance Basic qualifications: - 7+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+) - Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels Preferred: - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent - Master's degree or equivalent - Licensed customs broker - 3+ years of Product Safety & Compliance Law experience Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
