Sr. Global Trade Governance PM, AMZ Leo Global Trade and Compliance

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of relevant work in industry or academia experience - 5+ years of relevant experience in global trade, imports & exports, or similar fields - 5+ years of relevant experience working with customs brokers and handling import transactions end to end from shipment start to entry filing and record maintenance. - 5+ years of relevant experience with advanced Excel and ERP systems (preferably SAP) and ability to interpret data. - 5+ years of relevant experience in auditing customs transactions both self-assessments and responding to external audits. Preferred: - Licensed customs broker - Knowledge of PGA's Regulations in the Aerospace industry is considered a plus. - Be comfortable with ambiguity and curious to learn new skills. - Experience working in start-up mode building or supporting the compliance program from the ground up. - A curious self-starter with a proven track record of diving into unknown territory, learning new concepts, and pushing your comfort zone. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
