Sr. Deployment Vendor Manager, Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation

Amazon is seeking an experienced business-oriented Robotics Deployment Field Operations Engineer to own end-to-end vendor management. This role is the primary owner of our deployment vendor ecosystem — Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) - Experience in a procurement organization performing vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and bidding - Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar - Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership - Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings, or experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document Preferred: - Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field - Knowledge of BI analytics, reporting or visualization tools like Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Cognos or other third-party tools - Experience developing or delivering training programs across multiple sites or regions, or experience with project management - Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent) - Experience with robotic deployments in logistic, supply chain, warehouse or fulfilment operations environments or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
