Sr. Commodity Manager, Devices Supply Chain & Logistics

Since our inception in 2004, starting with the revolutionary Kindle, we’ve Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - 5+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience - 5+ years direct experience in supplier/supply chain management, with strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry, IC manufacturing and packaging processes and key suppliers. - Demonstrated expertise in cost analysis and supplier performance management. - Knowledge of AI, ERP and procurement tools Preferred: - Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams - Experience using analytical tools for workforce metrics and reporting - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field - 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience - Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction - Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
