Sensor System Engineer (Robotic vision), Amazon Robotics

We are seeking a Sensor System Engineer to join the Machine Vision Systems team at Amazon Robotics. This is a cross-disciplinary Subject Matter Expert (SME) role that bridges the gap between customers, Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields - Experience communicating with customers, technical, regulatory, business teams, and management to collect requirements, describe product features, and technical designs - Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization - Experience translating customer needs into innovative and detailed product requirements for customer-facing online and mobile products/services - 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, sensor development, or related technical roles - Strong understanding of sensor technologies (imaging, depth sensing, LiDAR, ToF, or similar) Preferred: - Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology - Knowledge of key technology and market trends - Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation - Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields - Experience in mobile robotics sensing applications (navigation, manipulation, perception) - Experience with optoelectronic packaging, sensor architecture, or system-level integration Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
