Senior Workplace Health & Safety Risk Manager #EHS #HSE, Corp - Governance, Compliance & External Affairs

The Worldwide Workplace Health and Safety Governance team seeks a Sr. Risk Manager, an individual contributor role, to serve as the subject matter expert for the end-to-end management of regulatory interactions Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience - Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field - Experience with OSHA and other health and WHS regulatory requirements - Experience working with MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint - Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization - ISO 45001 and/or 14001 lead auditor and/or training - Experience in conducting workplace risk investigations - Experience leveraging technology to drive process improvements Preferred: - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification - J.D., or Master's degree - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task - CPA, CMA, CISA, CIA or equivalent risk, audit, or compliance credentials - Experience with physical security control and surveillance systems Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
