Senior Solutions Architect - UK Healthcare, UK Public Sector - Healthcare

AWS is growing its UK Public Sector Healthcare team and looking for a Solutions Architect who wants to help transform how the NHS delivers care to 67 million citizens. You will be the technical partner Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military - Experience in customer-facing roles - Experience in a technical role involving cloud computing, systems design, software development, or infrastructure architecture - Experience designing and building distributed systems or architectures in a production environment - Experience with generative AI or machine learning technologies in an enterprise environment - Experience communicating technical concepts across both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership Preferred: - AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification - Experience working in or alongside UK healthcare organisations such as NHS trusts, Integrated Care Systems, or national healthcare bodies - Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 FHIR, DICOM) or clinical data governance frameworks (NHS DSPT, DTAC) - Experience designing or deploying generative AI solutions at enterprise scale, including foundation model selection, retrieval-augmented generation, or responsible AI practices - Understanding of UK public sector procurement processes and frameworks - Experience mentoring or developing other technical professionals Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
