Senior Solutions Architect - Healthcare & Life Sciences

AWS Industries Healthcare and Life Sciences (AWSI HCLS) is responsible for driving cloud and AI adoption across the world's leading healthcare providers, life sciences companies, and health technology Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience - 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience Preferred: - Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures - Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers - Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering) - Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients - Knowledge of distributed applications/enterprise applications - Experience working with global Life Sciences companies or hands on experience with complex cloud and digital transformation projects. - Familiarity with common enterprise services (Directory Services, Information Assurance, Identity and Access Management, etc.), products (i.e., Veeva, SAP) and frameworks (ITIL, Zachman, TOGAF, GxP, HIPAA, etc.) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
