The Grocery Retail and In-Store Experience team at Amazon is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of in-store Basic qualifications: - Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures - Experience with Engineering Methods for Analysis, including FEA, DFMEA, and statistical tools - Experience with thermal analysis, product validation, and materials process validation - Experience in engaging, working with, and managing vendors and suppliers to deliver in fast-paced technical environment Preferred: - Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - Experience with the project management of technical projects - System design interfacing to a wide array of electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical sub-systems - Experience designing with plastic injection molding and tooling The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
