Senior Manager, Strategic Category Management, WWRGD- Retail Growth & Development

Amazon's Worldwide Grocery Retail Growth and Development (WWRGD) organization is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategic Category Procurement. This role requires dynamic leadership, independent decision-making, Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of supply chain experience - 5+ years of team management experience - 6+ years of spearheading strategic cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable financial results and advance organizational objectives experience - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field Preferred: - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization - MBA, or Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field - Experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent) - Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders - Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization - 10+ years of procurement experience specific to fixtures and equipment in retail, construction, or facilities management environment, including cold chain management. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
