Senior HW Dev Engineer-Payload, Leo PAA Hardware

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.A Basic qualifications: - Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures - Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - Experience in system-level architecture and board-level design - Experience in hardware lab equipment such as digital scopes, logic analyzers, and soldering tools - Experience in layout design - Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout - Experience in high-speed digital design, multi-gigabit SERDES, and signal integrity Preferred: - Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production - Experience with the project management of technical projects - Familiarity with analog electronic fundamentals (transistor circuits, op-amps, filters, etc) - Experience in design, implementation, bring up and debugging of proof of concept HW and prototypes - Familiarity with power supply design Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
