Senior Firmware Engineer, Industrial Robotics Group

Amazon Industrial Robotics is seeking exceptional talent to help develop the next generation of advanced robotics systems that will transform automation at Amazon's scale. We're building revolutionary Basic qualifications: - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team - Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems - Knowledge of Python and/or C++ programming - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience Preferred: - Performed low level board bring-up or developed HAL code or BSPs for custom hardware - Understanding of RF and wireless communications, especially 802.11 - Hands on development with sensors such as cameras, 3DTOF sensors, or other visions systems - Experience developing safety certified systems, especially experience with IEC 61508 Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
