Senior Financial Analyst, EMEA Lease Accounting

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to become a key member of the UK EMEA Non-AWS Lease Accounting team, located in our London office. The role has responsibility for the controllership and accounting Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles - Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks), with the ability to apply them in day-to-day financial activities - Speak, write, and read fluently in English - Experience supporting month-end closing processes and contributing to financial reporting under established procedures - Experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments - Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field - CMA, or Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) - Knowledge of accounting frameworks such as US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), or local GAAP standards - Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department - Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred: - Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) - Knowledge of of financial reporting tools (Cognos, Redshift) - Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query) - Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau) - Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines - Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organization, or experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients - Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organization - Experience with computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or experience with Microsoft office tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
