Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Commercial Sales Finance

Amazon Web Services Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to take ownership of cost-side Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience Preferred: - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience working cross functionally across several teams - Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query), or experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in managing and troublshooting network - Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company - Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving - Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
